Errico Violante started as a butchers' apprentice at the advanced age of 14 in a small town outside of Naples, Italy. Days that started on a local farm, before school, and ended in the local butcher shop, after school, was the way he learned an age old trade rich in tradition and pride. Almost 20 years, and 3000 miles, later he realized a dream of opening a store of his own. Today he is still delivering superior Italian style meat cuts with an emphasis on customer service; at exceptional prices.
We opened our doors as R. Violante & Son meat market in August of 1982. A family run business is like having another member of the family.
